“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

- Mahatma Gandhi

I am not sure about you, but happiness is something I think deeply about regularly. I have found that my definition of it has changed over the years as I have matured. If anything, more things are getting added to it as I learn more about life.

What happiness means to you is vital to the way you live life. According to most of the early western philosophers, it is what we are designed to pursue. And whether we agree or not, we have to say they are not far off. After all, a life full of happiness does not sound too bad.

The reality is, in most of the things we do, we seek happiness. Whether that is choosing a career, friends or a romantic life partner. And some believe they are entitled to it due to the past struggles we have been through in life.

Over the past year, I have spent some time thinking about what happiness means to me. I learned that I did not find it in my corporate job, and neither did I find it in money, status or fame. Unfortunately, it became a complex problem for me.
