Writing
How Writing Has Helped Me Become a Better Me
As we all embark on our own journeys of writing, it can be hard to sometimes navigate through the noise. We see tonnes of articles letting people know how much money they are making and how easy it is to do it too. Yet still, many writers are struggling to make a living from their writing.
Although it would be great to one day make a living, I have realised that writing has made me better in many ways. Regardless of if I become rich from writing or not, there are some key things writing has added to my life.
Self-Discipline
Articles do not write themselves. It takes patience and resilience to produce an article that you are happy with. I have found writing has given me much more self-discipline because of that.
I am now more focused and can get work done at a quicker pace. Without writing, I would probably be living a disorderly life.
Self-Reflection
As I am constantly on the lookout for ideas within myself and the environment, writing has taught me to self-reflect deeply. I no longer end and start my days aimlessly.
I am now excited to reflect throughout the day and bring about new insights about myself and who I am becoming.
