Making money as a writer is difficult. Many of us are writing in the little time we have away from our families and jobs. Therefore, we must optimise the time we spend writing.

With a simple change in mindset, you can start making money as a writer. Here are the three changes you need to make:

1. Treat Each Article Like an Asset

Every article you write is a building block to the writing empire you are trying to create. Not only does it have the potential to make money today, but it can also continue to earn money in the future.

Therefore, you should treat each article with care and as a foundational piece to your writing business. Take time on each one and focus on the quality of the ideas you are communicating.

2. Treat Your Writing Time as an Investment

As highlighted in the short introduction, many of us have very little time to write. Therefore, you should treat that time as precious. Hide all of your distractions and be fully engaged with the writing process.

Like any investment, treat it with care. Your writing time is essential for becoming a better writer and producing your best work.
