A great philosopher once posed the thought that “The only constant in life is change.” Things are always in a state of change. It is what nature does.

It is true that “no man steps in the same river twice, for he is not the same man and it is not the same river.” However, sometimes the rate of change is overbearing, and how to deal with change can be puzzling at times.

Today, I was thinking about how quickly technology is changing. Intel seems to be releasing a new chip every year. Even now, talks of web 3.0 and the future of artificial intelligence are on-going.

It was not too long ago people were using dial-up to get to the internet and lugging around phones the size of suitcases. But idea after idea has brought about the technology we have today.

There is a law in physics called the Moor’s law. It states that the number of transistors on a microchip doubles every two years. In essence, we are seeing double our computing power every two years. Meaning our phones and computers today are more powerful than the computers used in the Apollo mission.
