“Equality is a myth to protect the weak. Some of us are strong in the force, others are not. Only a fool believes otherwise.”

Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell was an insightful read. And one of the most powerful takeaways from the book was the understanding that we have no perfect solution.

This idea springs from the fact that we have a limited amount of resources. Therefore, we can only allocate resources as best as possible, and in doing so, we must always make a trade-off.

It is an unfortunate reality of being human. Each choice made results in the cost of not making other alternate choices. Now the great thing is, we have the power to choose. However, not all choices presented to us are in our control.

There are many limitations the world puts on us which we can do nothing about. And this is an important fact to understand when approaching the topic of equality.
