Yes, I have found this to be a problem too. Another problem is the easy access to knowledge online.

People are less likely to educate themselves on topics because now all you need to do is do a google search and get a quick answer. Instead of having to understand things, we are now just accepting short snappy answers from anywhere we can find them.

It dims down critical thinking, and that is an important factor for intelligence.
