You Do Not Have to Regret Anything if You Do Not Want To
We all come to face regret in our lives at some point. Hopefully, our regrets will be minimal and not cause many effects in our lives. However, it can be easy to live life in our regrets and forgot how many opportunities we have in the present.
In this short, I will highlight why remaining in regret is less about feeling sorry for ourselves and more about perspective.
Perspective Is Everything
How we choose to see things is our perspective. The representation of the world around us is driven by our perspective, and our perspective is driven by our will.
Unfortunately, many of us do not take time to see things in a new light because we desire not to. We would rather see things the way we want to so that our models of life stay the same. However, if we are to break out of regret, we must first desire to see things in a different light.
You Can Only Live in the Present
The powerful thing about perspective is that it is not time-bound. Our perspective sets the landscape to which we live life. For many of us, we have a perspective that is too heavily governed by the past or our hopes for the future.
